RESIGNATION - It is with regret that I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign my position on the board of The East Coast Super League, effective immediately; I am resigning from the position of Vice President.
My other commitments have become too great for me to be able to fulfill the requirements of this position, and I feel it is best for me to make room for someone with the time and energy to devote to the position.
Obviously I am extremely passionate about this league and as a player in the league, the balance between player and official has been tough, I have been constantly reminded of this on the ice and so therefore it has been easy to come to this conclusion, If I can be of any assistance to my replacement, please don't hesitate to ask, Thank You all for your assistance I feel that I can go to sleep every night knowing I have helped this league develop and move further forward in the right direction.
REPLACMENT - I am extremely proud to announce that the new ECSL VP for the 2014 season is Sharon Kelly. Sharon has been around the game of ice hockey for over a decade, she has committee experience at the club and state level, formally on the Blacktown Flyers committee and the IHNSW Committee and currently on the Coaching Staff for the 2014 Australian Youth Team. We are extremely happy to have Sharon on board and I know the ECSL will continue to develop with her guidence and experience.
See you on the ice !
Kind Regards,
Jason Kvisle
