2013 ECSL CHAMPIONS
The 2013 ECSL CHAMPIONS are the STING. They defeated the Heat Saturday Night 4-1 and 6-5 Sunday Night to win "The Warwick Griffith Trophy."

The Heat have defeated the Rebels 4-1 & 1-1, 5-2 on aggregate to book a spot in the 2013 finals vs Sting.

The Sting have defeated the Raptors 5-3 & 5-1, 10-4 on aggregate too book there spot in the Grand Final.

Sunday night the Raptors headed into the ice cut 1-0 ahead, the Heat hit the ice in the 3rd bagging 3 goals in the 3-1 defeat.

The Late game Saturday Night saw a depleted Sting team out muscle the Raptors 7-2.

Rebels def North Stars 6-3
Saturday Night the Rebels hosted a depleted N'Stars outfit. The Rebels dictated the first two periods 6-1, but the N'Stars looks to stage a comeback scoring two in the 3rd.

Murgas bags 5 points defeating North Stars 6-4
Sunday night a depleated Sting travelled up the F3 to take on the North Stars, the Sting walked away with the points defeating the N'Stars 6-4.

Rebels 4-3 Raptors
Rebels defeated the Raptors 4-3 on Sunday night, the Rebels came back from a 2-0 defecit to win 4-3, Rebels #25 Casey Kubara scored the game winner with 4:21 remaining in the game.

Heat def Vipers 12-1
Saturday Night the Heat defeated the struggling Vipers 12-1, outshooting them 48-18. It was Heat #12 Warren Jaywardene who topped the tally with 1G 6A.

Raptors 5-3 North Stars
Saturday night the Raptors defeated the North Stars 5-3, Raptors Captain Paul Bond bagged a 'Hatty' (3G 1A) in the defeat.

Heat 4-4 Rebels
The Rebels & Heat matched up evenly the whole game, same number of players, shots, penatlies and goals, the game finished up 4-4 with 2:50 remaining in the third when the Rebels tied it up.

North Stars #15 Dore Bags 'A Hatty'
Sunday Night in Newcastle the North Stars scored 3 in the 3rd term to defeat the Heat 7-5. Assistant Captain Luke Dore scored 3 goals in the win.

Saturday Night the Raptors defeated the North Stars 5-2 in Sydney and it was the Scott Clemie show. Clemie scored all 5 goals.

Heat def Vipers 6-2
Saturday Night Heat #12 Warren Jaywardene & #90 Lee Turner teamed up with #21 Adam Kimbly defeating the Vipers 6-2. Wazza finished up with 4 Assists, Kimbly & Turner combining for 2G & 1A each.

Sting def Rebels 5-2
Saturday Night the Sting defeated an understrength Rebels side, the Sting commanded the game right from the drop of the puck. #29 Martin Snajdr lead the Sting with 2G, 1A.

North Stars 3 - 0 Vipers
The North Stars & Vipers met at SIA on Sunday night, the N'Stars out shot the Vipers 23 to 14.

Rebels 3-1 Raptors
The Rebels & Raptors were both missing a number of players at the World Inline Championships in California, in a end to end game the Rebels prevailed.

Sting 10-2 Raptors
Saturday night at Canterbury, the Sting punished the Raptors on the scoreboard and in the shot count. The Sting outshot the Raptors 56 to 33. Sting Murgas completed the game with 3 goals & 2 assists.

Sunday night a depleated North Stars outfit showed up at Penrith. The North Stars scored first on the Power Play and that would be it, the Heat responded with the next 7 goals.

Sting 9-1 Vipers
Sting #18 Jaroslav Murgas led the Sting Sunday Night with 4 Goals.

Raptors def Vipers 11-1
Saturday Night a small Raptors outfit flexed there muscles over a full strength Vipers outfit sending them packing. The Team was led by ECSL Rookie #8 Josh Cassar with 3 goals & 2 assists.

Rebels 10-3 Vipers
The Rebels and Vipers met for the second time this season, the Rebels were led by #4 Cameron Todd who scored 4 goals of the 10 goals.

Sting v Heat 4-4
The Sting & Heat went toe-to-toe on Sunday Night. It was 3-3 with 1 minute remaining, 0.23 Sting Jaroslav Murgas scored the go-ahead goal only to be denied 7 seconds later by Heat #21 Adam Kimbley with 0.16 remaining on the clock.

Raptors 6-4 North Stars
The Raptors defeated the North Stars on Saturday night. North Stars were down 4-1 going into the third before Michael Slee and Kevin Boyd teamed up twice in a bid to bring the N'Stars back however the Raptors were able to close out the game 6-4.

In a high scoring game it was the Sting that finished up victors 7-6 over the Raptors. Jaroslav Murgas finished the night with 4 Goals & 1 Assist.

The Raptors have defeated the Vipers on Sunday Night in Penrith, final score 5-3.

Heat def Sting 1-0
The Heat and Sting rilvary continued at SIA on Sunday night. The Heat scored the only goal of the night in the first period. The Heat prevailed but thanks to solid goaltending from Alan Becken the game finished 1-0.

Rebels shutout Raptors 7-0
The Rebels & Raptors met for the second time this season, the Raptors were shut down by solid goaltending from Rebels Rookie Rhett Kelly.

North Stars def Vipers 7-3
The North Stars & Vipers met for the second time this season and the North Stars were determined to send the Vipers back down the F3 evening up the series one game a piece.

Raptors 7 Vipers 4
The Raptors started their 2013 campaign with a 7-4 win over the Vipers.Jason Gibson(2G,2A), Kyle Tully(2G), and Riley Bryn(1G,1A) for the Raptors, and Mathias Karrer(2G,2A), Hamish Charlton(1G,1A) all with multipoint games.

Sting 6 Heat 3
The Sting have also started their 2013 season with a win. Defeating the Heat 6-3 in Penrith. Robert Soliman proving the difference in his ECSL debut. Both goaltenders faced 31 shots, with Soliman conceding 3.

2013 Season Kicks off
Saturday night saw the 2013 ECSL Season commence with the defending champs hosting the Vipers. Final Score saw the North Stars defeat the Vipers 5-0, earning Josh Broekman the shutout.

The 2013 ECSL Season will start on the weekend of the 23/24th March 2013.

2013 ECSL Handbook Changes
2013 will see some major changes to the ECSL with the possible inclusion of another Sydney based team along with the age limit lifted.
